We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at Estaban’s in 2012 and decided to come back and celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. I can honestly say that it is just as amazing as it was the first time. The menu has not changed much there were a few new items that have replaced a couple that we had the first time. The idea of the restaurant is still sharing a meal with tapas (small plates). This time we decided to do Happy Hour, since we had traveled and set up to vend at the Artichoke Festival the next day, we didn’t want to be out too late. Happy Hour is from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm nightly.
Our server Jessie had only been working at the restaurant for a few days, but she was amazing. So friendly, and she is checked on us regularly and got us anything we needed, was fine with us ordering one tapas at a time to enjoy each of them before moving on to the next. After we had finished our first beer she arrived with complimentary glasses of Champagne wishing us a happy anniversary.
We will be coming by anytime we are in Monterey. We will also try the brunch next time we are in town. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 9:0 am to 1:30 pm.
