1664 N Virginia St Reno, NV 89557 – https://www.unr.edu/planetarium

Located at the University of Nevada Reno is a small planetarium but offers a bang. They are open on Fridays from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm. If you would like to explore the planetarium without seeing a show there is a $3 walk-in fee per person. Show tickets are $15 per person and $10 for seniors and students. There are a few different show options and times, so it is best to check the website and choose the one you would like to see.

Parking for the planetarium is located on the third floor of the West Stadium parking complex. Permits are required on Fridays until 5 pm, parking is free on Saturdays.

The seating is pretty comfortable, but it was a bit chilly inside so I would bring a sweater just in case. It is very dark so you will not want to get up during the show. Just lean back and enjoy the feeling of being in space.
